Knoxville Chiropractor FAQ

Common questions people in the Knoxville, TN area ask before booking with a chiropractor — answered plainly.

Where's the office?

111 Sherlake Lane in West Knoxville. Off Kingston Pike. Near the I-40/I-75 interchange. Call +1 865-383-7730 or check bellfamilychiro.com.

Will my insurance cover it?

Most major plans do, at least partially. How much depends on your plan. Call the office before your first visit, they'll run a benefits check.

What's it going to cost?

First visit self-pay: $80 to $200, depending on what's included. Follow-ups are cheaper. With insurance, you usually just pay a copay.

Can a chiropractor fix my sciatica?

Usually, yes. A few weeks of adjustment, decompression, soft-tissue work, and the right home stretches handle most cases. The exception: if you've got progressive weakness, numbness, or bladder changes — go to the ER, not the chiropractor.

Is it okay for my kid?

Yes. Pediatric chiropractic uses very gentle, low-force technique. Most West Knox offices have a lot of experience with kids.

Do I need a referral?

No. Tennessee lets you book yourself. Some insurance plans want a referral for billing — that's separate. The office can check.

What's the first visit like?

About an hour. Paperwork. Exam. Conversation about what's going on. Usually your first adjustment. No X-ray unless the exam says you need one.

Got rear-ended — should I call?

Yes, sooner than later. Whiplash and accident injuries are routine here. Getting in early gets you documentation for insurance and a head start on care, even if you don't feel that bad yet.

Have a question that isn't here? The office is happy to answer over the phone — +1 865-383-7730 — or you can reach them through Bell Family Chiropractic's site.
